Space installed in the old Episcopal Seminary built in 1601 by Dom Nuno de Noronha, Bishop of Guarda. It opened to the public as a museum in 1985, under the name Museu da Guarda, showing the history of the district. In 1855-1858 began the construction of the Teatro Aveirense, a project by Araújo e Silva. The building would only be completed in 1878-1881, having been inaugurated by the Dona Maria II Theater Company. In 1912 the animatograph sessions began. Later, in 1947-1949, the space was rebuilt and opened, having been designed by Ernesto Korrodi and Engineer Von Haff. True ex-libris of the city of Aveiro, this room was the stage for a wide range of shows as Ney Matogrosso, Maria Bethânia and Vicente Amigo. It was also the space chosen for the academic soirees of the University of Aveiro.

The new ice Palace Shopping results from the expansion and renovation of the iconic Ice Palace, opened in 1996 and promoted by the Visabeira Group. Currently Integrates 73,500 square feet of gross leasable area (GLA) distributed by 164 stores, integrating in parallel a series of additional valances. Created in 1933, this was the first museum built from scratch in Portugal, designed by architects Paulino Montês (1897-1962) and Eugénio Corrêa (1897-1985). The José Malhoa Museum displays the largest collection of works by its patron and an important collection of 19th and 20th-century paintings and sculptures. Completing the collections are a section on Caldas da Rainha ceramics – centered around the importance of Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro's work for local faience – and the unique set of 60 terracotta sculptures of the "Passion of Christ" – an open-air sculpture collection, and an art library with over 5,000 items.

The Theatro Club was commissioned in 1904 by Antonio Lopes, from the architect Moura Coutinho. The architectural style is particularly relevant in Portugal through the decoration of the facades, especially the use of tiles. The downtown is the result of an urban innovative project, imbued on a clear concern for modernity. With a rigours geometrical sketch, it has its main references on the Tejo River and the D. José statue. Nearby are also the Rossio and Figueira squares. This area was totally rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755, and became one of the best examples of European urban planning. The village of Alvito da Beira is believed to be of Moorish origin. According to historians, it was the Arabs who introduced the first olive groves to the region. These reached such a size that by the early 20th century, there were 10 olive presses in the parish. Small walls were built to protect the olive trees, of which traces still remain. In terms of architectural heritage, the main church, cross, old fountain, Mó fountain, Dáspera fountain, and Sobrainho fountain stand out. Crafts include weaving, tinsmithing, hand-made shoemaking, and blacksmithing.

A village located in a cove of the Castelo de Bode reservoir. It is one of the most typical and picturesque villages in central Portugal. Dominating the low white houses is the medieval tower, said to have been built by the Knights Templar on a Roman watchtower to oversee the deep Zêzere Valley, which formed the border between Moorish and Christian territory. Of note among its cultural heritage are the main church, dating from the 13th century and rebuilt in 1453, with the image of Our Lady of Weeping, and the chapel of Santo Antão, with 17th-century statues.
