As the name of this place of great historical interest suggests, here you can see monuments of medieval architecture classified as National Monuments - the pillory, the tower and the fountain.

The former Compressor Center of the Algares Mine, now a museum. The building was constructed in the 1950s, and the compressed air plant began operating in 1952. In the early 1990s, it was decommissioned, leaving only the Compressor Center in the Moinho Mine building in operation.

Manueline church with a longitudinal plan consisting of a single nave, a chancel taller and narrow and high and a vestry located near. It was probably built in the early 16th century, suffering reforms in the following centuries. Highlighting the pulpit, built in 1685.

This a small garden placed right opposite the Foz market, where you can see, at the centre, a bust of the writer that gives the name to this garden, made by Henrique Moreira.

Funerary monument in granite and masonry, used as a chapel. On the front main altar you can see 18th century and baroque tiles. It is one of the largest in the Iberian Peninsula.

Temple built in the 14th century, has an ogival door with three archivolts and capitals decorated. Abroad, there are two graves where it is still possible to see heraldic symbols.

Statue located in front of the chapel of Queen Santa Isabel, in white marble, circular basis, on which you can see your name and dates 1271-1336.

Restaurant placed by the sea decorated with marine motifs and serving mostly fish. You may see the jaw-bone of fish and boat paintings on the walls, among others.
