A tourist complex with several services and shops. It has a Tourism Office with a room for temporary exhibitions, a mini market, a hairdresser, a cafeteria and a multifunctional room. The apartments all have one bedroom and can lodge from 4 to 6 people. They are all fully equipped and have stupendous views.

This church underwent severe modifications with the earthquake of 1755. Currently, in its interior, one can view fine quality pictures of the 1700s - such as a Jesus as a Child of the 18th century, greatly adored by the people - the magnificent stuccos of the 1800s on the high altar and the excellent Christ on the Cross on the high altar as well.

At the Parque da Serra d'Aire e Candeeiros, this space is a restaurant and a pub that once was an olive oil press. The menu features regional flavurs in a rustic and welcoming house and lively live music weekends. It has another room that can welcome up to 400 people, for several events.

In the Castromil Gold Mines, there is a gold deposit whose archaeological evidence testifies that, at least 2000 years ago, the Roman people developed gold mining activities in this location. Numerous ancient underground works can be observed here, as well as concavities in the side walls for placing lighting lamps.

The parish of Vilar da Veiga, right in the Peneda-Gerês Natural Park (on the southernmost side of the Gerês) is extremely rich in natural resources (belvederes, rocky formations and waterfalls).

The Gerês mountain has five major water courses. Nonetheless, there are tens of fountains that "escape" that main network, with their rich mountain waters. The Pontido fountain is one such example.
