This very simple Chapel, was built on the site where took place the battle of Coruche. The porch, built on plinths of a primitive structure, with corners signed with pinnacles and lateral facades topped off in cornice.

Sited at the superior cloister and annex areas of the S. Jerónimo College, this place aims to gather, maintain and divulge all about the history of the academic history, its traditions and relations with the University and the city.

Church built in 1636 on the site where the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament had stood. Between the 18th and 19th centuries, it was completely rebuilt. It presents characteristics of Mannerist, Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical architecture.

Manueline chapel with gabled façade, with a single nave with wooden ceiling and a chancel with ribbed dome. It is assumed that has been constructed in the early 16th century, on the site where another temple existed.

Are the older and traditional utensils used by stonemasons in the course of successive operations and also the innovations that have been, leading to its abandonment and replacement by machinery. The images presented in this course documenting practices and techniques that lead to production of stonework and realize the fundamental traits of the evolution of activity in Portugal petraea. The fort was built primarily to defend the area, as well as its inhabitants, who traveled from the parish headquarters (Alcantarilha) to this location to dedicate themselves to their "art of work." Around 1720, a chapel dedicated to the fort's patron saint was built within the fortress. Today, it is known as the Chapel of Our Lady of the Afflicted.

Building built between 1915 and 1919 by an insurance company, who worked until 1925. On this date was leased to businessman Alexandre de Almeida, who completed the construction and adapted to the hospitality industry. In 1926 it was inaugurated the Hotel Astória, which even today is one of the most luxurious hotels in the city.

Late Baroque convent, of regional trait. Good works of stucco, wooden door frame and coloured glass. The Church is distinguished by talha of altarpieces and mural paintings. Today disabled, worked here for many years. Is in the process of remodeling to serve as home of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Cuba.
