The 12 miles of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in one of the most beautiful scenic areas of the region, lies this beautiful House of rural architecture of the Minho nobility of the 16th century. The main House has four double bedrooms, living room and dining room. Has, yet, on the property, two bedroom apartments.

House of traditional architecture, with a nice interior courtyard, located in the historic area of Óbidos, within the walls. Around here you can purchase regional products such as the famous "ginjinha" liquor, wine, embroideries, ceramics and patchwork quilts. Monument of civil character, of the few who represent this type of construction in the region, built in the first half of the 19th century by António Bebiano Biscay and vegetable gardens. The end of their construction was only known in the following century 40. Has a part that is still attached to the wall. Currently serves as home and day care center.

The kitchen presented here is based on the traditions of this region, with simplified dishes for lunch. Keep in memory the stylish feijoada You Chloe, but there are other good options like cod, the ham and the Partridge.

This is a space that combines three generations: sons, parents and grandparents. Restaurant belonging to Ethnographic and Social Association of Montemuro, composed of two nice rooms where you can taste typical dishes of the region. The slices of sausage, following entry for cod of onions, pickled trout or bean rice with sausage. On Sundays is still served the emblematic goat roasted in a wood-burning oven.

The old kitchen restaurant is dedicated especially to the Portuguese regional cuisine and endowed with a generous ancient fireplace, perfect for the colder days. Among the specialties stands out the goat and suckling pig, baked in a wood-fired oven, followed by beans smoked and cured meat. For dessert, opt for the traditional Abbot Priscos pudding.

The Salt Mines are located in the Serras D'Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, 30 kilometers from the sea. The oldest reference to this natural resource dates back to the 12th century, and the use of rock salt is believed to date back to prehistoric times. Given the ease with which rainwater penetrates limestone, the streams eventually become underground. Thanks to one of these currents, the water becomes salty as it passes through the rock salt deposit. After being drawn from the well, it flows to concentrators and from there back to the distribution basin. Then, it flows to the butchers …
