This small linear route begins near the miradouro da Terra Alta, located between the parishes of Ribeirinha and Santo Amaro and ends in the center of Santo Amaro, a former shipbuilding Center of the archipelago, where you can visit the Maritime Museum of Shipbuilding and the School of Arts and crafts.

A unique phenomenon in Portugal and very rare worldwide, it consists of stones growing and detaching from their "mother stone," hence their popular name "birthing stones." To better understand these enigmatic rocks and the dynamics of the Arouca Geopark, it is worth visiting the Casa das Pedras Parideiras – Interpretation Centre.

It was once the Feira do Livro (bookseller's fair) and the Festas Sanjoaninas (Saint John’ popular festivities) this garden surrounded by trees is the ex libris of the Boavista area. At the centre rises the “Monumento de Homenagem aos heróis da Guerra Peninsular” (monument in honour of the peninsular war heroes), planned by the sculptor Alves de Sousa and the architect Marques da Silva. It is a huge granite column, 45 meters height, with a peninsular lion slaughtering a Napoleonic eagle on the top. This place is usually called Rotunda da Boavista.

The Pitões das Júnias waterfall, located in the heart of Peneda-Gêres National Park, is fed by the crystal-clear waters that flow past the Santa Maria das Júnias Monastery. It has a first drop of about 30 meters, followed by several more. This entire landscape is surrounded by a beautiful, centuries-old oak forest.

Route with start and end on the Bushes, with 8, 26 km, with a duration of 3:30 h, and a degree of difficulty easy. This course has as its points of interest: the Skydiving Center, the arc of the Bush Dog, tapir and the Brook Valley of Alvito, Cabeço da Anta and the living Science Centre.

This route starts in the village and ends at Faial da Terra, with a duration of about three hours. Will the spout from the goats, forests of incenses, conteiras and cater, the viewpoint of the beak of the Goats, a pasture, the Watchman of the whale and the Fajã do Calhau. You can also visit the old harbour of the whale.
