In a hunting area, lies the rural construction of Minho. XIX. Features many sports facilities that lie a few miles of the home, from the beach, squash, tennis, skeet shooting, among other activities.

Medium-sized Chapel, with Gothic features, with mudéjar influence. Stand out from the foothills of circular cross-section, pyramidal spires, bevelled crenellations shot in the chancel. Inwardly is rib vaulted with warheads.

Granary dating from 1892, consisting of two sloping walls, eight stone columns, a single door wood on the top and a gable roof. In the 20th century suffered general repairs in the battens and the toppings.

Baroque church of primordial construction from medieval times. Presents longitudinal plant and consists of nave, chancel, side chapel and sacristy. The interior is of coro-high and the main altarpiece of the gilded Baroque style.

This temple was constructed on the 15th century and it presents a late gothic style with a sober character. It exist some Renaissance characteristics on the altarpieces, namely the one on the main chapel and mannerist on the altarpieces from the nave chapels.

This small fort was built by Dom Pedro II in the 17th century to protect the coast from Spanish attacks during the Restoration War. It features a star-shaped layout and four single-elevation bastions.

Fort erected in the sixteenth century to defend the city against the Spanish invasion. Later, worked as a warehouse and housing of fishermen from a whaling company. It is currently used for tourist and cultural purposes, getting exhibitions.

Lighthouse opened in 1901, was the second to be built in the Azores. Formerly it was fuelled by oil, gas and diesel, currently runs on electricity. Near this place there is a small house where, from 1892, was installed the Semaphore Station.

Located in the oldest area of the town, this church, dating from the 18TH century, has a cruciform plan and the tops finished off by two chapels. In the lateral chapel can be seen two granite sarcophagi.

Pousada built from scratch, inaugurated the 25 August 1943, as part of the first group of buildings that were part of the national program to provide the country with a network of hostels, between the end of the thirties and forties.
