Once upon a time in Paris ... it can be considered as the continuation of the primitive "once upon a time in Port ...". The Oceânico Faldo Golf Course (in honor of the architect Nick Faldo), in rugged terrain, connects the two highest extremes of the immense property of the almond tree. The result of a protocol signed between the City Council and the University of the Azores, this museum is organized with a central space, the Municipal Museum, and three museum centers integrated into the community: the Olaria museum center, the Forno de Loiça and the Fábrica da Luz museum center. Here you can see pottery objects, ceramics, learn about traditional arts and crafts and appreciate a collection of traditional vessels from the Azores. It also works as a research center in the areas of Archaeology, Ethnography and History.

The Portuguese Toy Museum is located in Casa do Arnado, on the right bank of the Lima River, next to the Roman bridge. It features a permanent exhibition of toys of Portuguese origin, dating from the end of the 19th century and extending until 1986. You can also appreciate the different manufacturing techniques and raw materials used in their design. Do not leave without going through the magnificent garden to the "Sala das Brincadeiras" and the "Oficina do Brinquedo", as well as the space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Located at the Cais Novo Warehouses, where the wines of the Companhia Geral de Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro used to be stored, this is a building that was constructed by the family Pinto da Cunha Saavedra in the 1700s. This space shows the privileged location of Oporto, as a commercial outpost, and relates mostly to the Port wine, the transportations, mainly along the Douro river, and the ways of life that were generated from those activities, namely with th coming of several foreign colonies. It has several programs for specific audiences.

Although its exact founding is uncertain, it is known that a Jewish quarter existed in Castelo de Vide in the 14th century. A visit to the Castelo de Vide Synagogue Museum will allow visitors to explore the interior of this place of worship, including the tabernacle, with its recesses for the lamps of the "Holy Oils." To the right of this piece, a tabletop for the sacred scriptures, with seven balls embedded at the base, representing the six days in which God created the world and the seventh day, the final day of rest from his work.

The Oliva Art Center is an exhibition and collection management center created in 2013 as part of the project to reconvert one of the most symbolic industrial buildings in São João da Madeira - the Oliva factory and foundry. From its origin, the Art Center houses two large private collections: the Norlinda and José Lima Collection, one of Portugal's largest private collections of contemporary art; and the Treger / Saint Silvestre art brut and singular art collection, one of the largest of its kind in the Iberian Peninsula.

This includes a theme park at the beginning of the 18th century, an ancient farm, populated with more than a hundred varieties of birds, ponies and goats, dwarf the re-creation of a distillery of medronho and a coal yard, you can also visit a mine off of ore extraction. The open pit contains, according to geologists, especially iron and copper but also barium. In the next Gallery, the water to be removed from the wells that are being excavated and a car full of ore circulates on the tracks aided by a worker.

The Teatro da Vista Alegre was created, almost simultaneously with the factory, for entertainment of workers and residents of the housing project. In 1851 it was rebuilt and decorated with ceilings adorned and curtains adorned. For decades played host to plays, dances and concerts of the Philharmonic from the factory. In 1905 and again in 1970 is the target of renovations that give the current traits. Inactive for many years, only in 1998 was recovered and re-opened. Currently, the space houses a amateur theater group composed of the Vista Alegre factory workers.
