Work of the sculptor Agostinelli, paying homage to the traditional florists of Madeira. During many years it was at the Hotel Atlantis Madeira, but after its demolition it was offered to Santa Cruz autarchy that placed it on the gardens of the Casa da Cultura (Culture house) at Quinta do Revoredo.

An imposing neo-manuelin (from a style created by the king Dom Manuel I at the times of the sea discoveries) mannor. One should pay close attention to the ashlar frames, to the neo-manuelin jagged battlements, to the horseshoe shaped arches and to the neo-arab tiles.

A bronze statue, over a marble base, paying homage to Gonçalo Mendes da Maia “O Lidador”, hero of the foundation of the nationality, whose first king of Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques, nominated his “Adeantado”. The statue is by the sculptor Lima de Carvalho.

Church with Baroque and Rococo influences. Features single ship with chorus-high and chancel. The Bell Tower's cupola for the classroom and within any decor is enlivened by the retabulística. The Rococo arises in ashlars of tiles and stucco notes with shell motifs, pay phones and bat wings.

There was a passage below the street level in this area. The Madeira Street (“wood” street won this name thanks to the fact that there used to be a warehouse of wood for construction in that same place. In this area there used to exist the “Porta dos Carros”, one of the big city entrances, that disappeared when the walls of the city were destroyed.

Located in the historic center of Samora Correia, it is one of the most striking buildings in the village. Also known as Palácio da Companhia das Lezírias, its interior was destroyed in a violent fire in 1976. Despite this, it remained a heritage reference and is currently a cultural space that includes a library, an auditorium and exhibition galleries.

The primitive temple was built in 1626. In 1644 it served as a refuge for the population during the Castilian offensive, and was then destroyed. Rebuilt in 1683, it was damaged again during the War of Succession. In 1733 it went from a structure with three naves to a single nave. The church, overlooking the village, has a facade with a niche and the bell tower.

The primitive church was destroyed in 1755, and its reconstruction was ordered by Dom José, at the ruins of the Misericórdia Church, from which was save the lateral portal, manueline, two windows, also manueline, a low embossed work of Nossa Senhora da Misericórdia and the Santíssimo Sacramento chapel, from the XVII century.

Building dating from the late 19th century, consisting of three floors, with the Bay Windows on the first floor. This construction comes up to our days to testify the importance that the Horta was the provider Center steamships docked here.

Located in Ribeira da Lombega, this is one of the three existing lava tubes on the island, featuring 36 meters long and 4 meters high. Its name comes from the fact that there are ring-shaped stalactites in caves.
