Infante Dom Pedro Park, or City Park, was established in 1862 on land previously owned by the Convent of Santo Antônio. The river that ran through it was used to create a landscape of lakes and fountains dotting the surrounding greenery. Highlights of this garden include Avenida das Tílias, the iron bandstand, and romantic corners nestled among bridges and trees.

Small rural Chapel dating from the 17th century, until the 19th century was called Chapel of São Sebastião das Pecking. Presents a simple longitudinal plant, with the main facade in gable and a straight Dick portal surmounted by a telescope and a Bell Tower.
