Pond situated on the slopes of the Serra de Santa Bárbara, inside a volcanic cone. This is one of the ponds more virgins and of greater natural beauty of the island. Highlight is the richness of its fauna and flora.

Former Jesuit College consisting of a simple rectangular plan, developed around two cloisters, with emphasis in the Church Centre. The College was founded in the 18th century and, in 1839, d. Maria II installed here the Court and jail. In the 20th century was also installed at City Hall.

The parish church of Fiães Tâmega, dedicated to Santa Susana, is deployed in the main village square. Granite construction, oriented northeast\/southwest, on the main façade, elongated by a Bell Tower has a rectangular door flanked by two horizontal slots. Inside the Church, recently the target of restoration, stands the high altar, in gilt, which occupies the central part of the headboard, decorated with painted panels. This is the Church that Sunday masses are celebrated and the offices of the religious feast in honour of Santa Susana.

A vertente histórica da Quinta de Santa Bárbara está pensada ao pormenor, de tal forma que o seu restaurante foi criado para dar continuidade à experiência, não só pelo espaço, uma antiga adega do século XVI, integrada na unidade de turismo de habitação, mas também pela ementa, inspirada nas origens da gastronomia tradicional. Um dos pratos de assinatura, com lugar cativo na carta, que vai variando ao longo do ano, é o peito de pato assado com mel de urze e gratinado de vegetais. Igualmente competente é a couve tronchuda com bacalhau e ovo escalfado sobre broa.

18th century country house of rectangular plant and two storeys, with a chapel located near the right side. It was built in the late 18th century by Dr Joaquim Maria Taborda Hawk Tavares. Abroad, stands the stone weapons and, inside, subtribuna painting, with false marmoreados and paneled.

Between Santa Cruz and Porto Novo enjoy an ecological atmosphere and increase your life quality while exercising. Five kilometres with only one steep climb make this a medium difficulty walk.

In this cemetery, stands out the gate in arch at the entrance, flanked by double pilasters, surmounted by a pediment with central urn species. This portal is from the convent of Santa Clara de Trancoso, demolished in the 19th century.

Hospital of rectangular plant composed of five bodies. It was built in the late 19TH century. Currently, works here the nursing home Adelino Bugalho and the headquarters of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Cantanhede.
