One kilometre away from Albufeira and just a few metres from Santa Eulália's beach, by the Quinta da Balaia, in a very peaceful area, one can find these well equipped apartments.

The arts Lab integrates the complex of ancient tanneries is located in the historic centre of Guimarães. This 17th century building is shaped like a four-pointed star, each protected by guardhouses. The vestiges of this defensive fort can be seen on Avenida Doutor Antunes Guimarães, Rampa do Castelo and Rua de Santa Catarina. It began to be built in 1638, but in 1655 it was still not completed. In 1832, during the civil war, it underwent some modifications and, in the 20th century, it was handed over to the Captaincy of the Port of Leixões, which carried out works to house its staff there.

The parish church of pine, dedicated to Santa Marta, is deployed in the Centre of the village of Pine. Is a granite Temple, restored in the 18th century, flanked by a churchyard partly paved with granite graves covers. Inside are three gilded altars, the high altar and two side altars, religious imaginary housing. In this church there is still an exceptional Panel, on fabric, dating from the 17th century, representing one of the stations of the "Via Dolorosa". In addition to the Sunday masses, is in this temple are celebrated crafts the religious feast in honour of Santa Marta.

Beach very busy with a lot of young people and tourists. Nearby is the Santa Catarina fort dating from the 16th century and completed in the 17th century. Its lighthouse remained in operation as an aid to navigation and the entry of vessels to shore. Inside there is a small chapel dedicated to Santa Catarina. Media sports events are held here, namely those related to beach football. Daytime and nighttime entertainment, gymnastics, tennis and extreme entertainment can also be found. There are a lot of good restaurants.

Theatre built in the end of the XIX century by the architect Tomás Augusto Soler. It was first called Teatro Dona Maria Pia, and then changed to Teatro Funchalense, after that to Teatro Manuel de Arriaga and at last Teatro Baltazar Dias, paying homage to the Madeira dramaturge from the XVI century.
