The primitive building dated from the 16th century, however, this just leaves the cellar. It is believed that the current building date from the late 17th century. In 1740, the chapel was decorated with tiles and, in 1987, was restored and adapted the unit of turismo de habitação.

This gate is one of the few remains of the old fortress, built in the 18th century to defend the town from pirates. It was built between 1797 and 1799 by Matias de Avelar. The upper part of the gate features the coat of arms with the royal arms of Portugal.

This mountain range belongs to the Antigo Massif , south of the Tagus and divides the Alentejo from the Algarve. It is located between the Espinhaço de Cão and Caldeirão mountains. It has a maximum altitude of 902 meters (reached in Foia) and measures 30 km in length.

Earth-fill dam located on the Ribeira de Odivelas (Sado River Basin), nestled in a plain landscape. It serves as a reservoir for the Odivelas Reservoir. Barbel, largemouth bass, and carp (commonly known as snook) are the most abundant fish species in the area.

Waterfall located in the Silva Escura valley, at the point where the Rio Mau, born with the name Rio Bom, falls 800 meters above sea level in the Serra de Arestal. Near this waterfall there were silver mines explored by the Romans.

Located next to Vila de Mourão, in the Alqueva Dam, this river beach has around 320 meters of sand, 100 meters of which are guarded. It has a floating pool for children, a floating platform with a jumping tower, a ladder for bathers and a slide.
