The Fontaínhas Viewpoint is located in one of the historic areas of the city of Porto. It is located next to Ponte do Infante and, from here, you can see Vila Nova de Gaia, on the other side of the river, as well as part of the popular D. Luís I Bridge. It is also one of the most used places to see the fireworks foe the Saint John feasts.

Former palace built in 1599, with a rectangular plan, with two floors and two bodies and a central courtyard, owned by the Matos Azambuja family. It later became the property of the Hintze Ribeiro family and, in 2007, it was sold. Inside you can see murals from the period of Queen Maria I, 19th-century marblework and wallpaper from the late 18th century.

Bust paying homage to Baden-Powell (1857-1941), the father of boy-scout movement all over the world, who visited Madeira in the beginning of the 1930s.

Bust inaugurated in august, the 12th, 1980, paying homage to Simon Bolivar, Venezuelan soldier and revolutionary lieder responsible for the independence of several territories of Spanish America.

Monument to pay homage to José Relvas, big name Portuguese culture, as a musician, scholar and man worship which greatly contributes to the cultural legacy of the region.

Church probably built in 1620, date entered in the pulpit, to present a longitudinal plan, with a porch of three bays, a ship, a narrower chancel and a vestry located near. Underwent restoration in 1882.

In medieval times it was here built the building of the Town Hall, after being rebuilt in 1876. Consists of a longitudinal plan organized in function of a corridor that traverses the entire building. Initially, it worked here too the jail and the Court but currently works only the Town Hall.

This church is dated from the 18th century and here can be stand out the campanile, and on the inside the altars golden carve and the Calvary arch. The ceilings, formed by coffers, display painted figures by Dmaião Valliasoleti from 1773.

It belonged to João das Regras, “Minister”and counsellor of Dom João I. It was kept intact until the earthquake of 1755, suffering later profound changes.

An obelisk located in th centre of a large square and built as a tribute to king Dom José I. Surrounded by small pillars it has an iron at the top.
