Architectural project by Álvaro Siza Vieira, located in the Quinta da Fidalga area. The exhibition "The Essence of Form" showcases the numerous ceramic tile projects carried out by Manuel Cargaleiro throughout his artistic life. Its aim is to promote the work of Manuel Cargaleiro and contemporary art in general, through temporary exhibitions and the development of educational activities.

Located in Alto Dona Ana, with an area of ​​approximately 5 hectares, the Seixal Urban Park offers ideal conditions for physical activity and outdoor leisure, with stunning views of Lisbon. Users can enjoy viewpoints, picnic tables, a natural amphitheater, various shaded areas, and paths throughout the park.

Founded under the name Tipografia Popular A. Palaio, Lda., it established itself in Seixal in 1955 and operated there for five decades. The former printing workshop has been renovated to function as a museum where visitors are invited to experience the old techniques and knowledge of a traditional graphic arts workshop, using tools and machines currently excluded from the activity.

It was the largest company in the cork sector in Portugal and, for a time, in the world. Recognized for its innovative social policy, it became intimately linked to the lives of many generations of Seixal residents, making it a must-see for anyone visiting the municipality. The factory's former canteens have been transformed into a modern restaurant and bar, with a privileged view of the Seixal Bay.

Seixal Bay, considered the landmark of the municipality, is renowned for its rich landscape, birdlife, and aquatic fauna. In an area of ​​almost 500 hectares, many migratory birds are sighted, such as herons, kingfishers, and occasionally colonies of flamingos. Due to its natural conditions, the bay serves as a setting for various sporting activities.

Quinta da Fidalga is distinguished by its tidal lake, a unique monument in Portuguese hydraulic architecture. Its origins date back to the 15th century, always associated with agricultural and leisure functions. It is said that Paulo da Gama, brother of Vasco da Gama, settled in the Seixal region to oversee the construction of caravels destined for the discovery of the sea route to India. Also noteworthy is the beautiful garden outside the house. The space is also part of the Manuel Cargaleiro Arts Workshop, an architectural project by Álvaro Siza Vieira.

A riverside promenade stretching 14 kilometers across Seixal, Arrentela, and Amora. Along the shore, with the river as your companion, you can enjoy walks and the beautiful scenery that surrounds the entire area, while also practicing sports.

Located in a former shipyard, this space allows visitors to explore the workshop where traditional boat models from the Tagus River are built, and learn about the river and maritime heritage of the Tagus Estuary, especially its nautical heritage.

Only the lower part of the furnace of two pear-shaped kilns can be observed, with a small access corridor and three arches supporting the grate (which has since been demolished). Waste materials from the manufacturing process were found in two pits located south of the kilns.
