A well preserved village that stands out for its small farms and old summer manors. A special note to the old summer manor of the House of Bragança, rather visited by the courts when they went to the São Pedro do Sul thermae.

A small village near the source of the Olhos de Água springs. The church, dating from the early 16th century, and the estate of the former Morgados do Alviela are worth a visit. The handicrafts, especially woodwork, rugs, and rag quilts, are notable.

Old manor located seven kilometers from Elvas, in a quiet place and with plenty of vegetation. The visit to the fountain, the garden and the chapel are mandatory. The decoration of the interior spaces is markedly alentejana, fact that makes this House even more cozy and appealing.

In the garden a tank, carved on the terrain, stands out, acceded by a wide stairwell, with baroque and Italian influences. Also a special note to other elements, such as the barrel vaults that separate the vineyards and the houses. Visits are possible under appointment with the owner (258947177).

A pleasant space with some olive trees, wooden and metal tables and benches and a live coal barbecue out in the open. It has very well taken care of flowerbeds. It may be visited at night due to the fact that it has artificial lights.

Thanks to the meticulous work of José Franco, it is possible to visit one of the most authentic "villages" in the world. Its particularity is that it is small, full of details, such as the reproduction of an elementary school or the grocery store where Aunty Helena serves a glass of wine.

This museum, located on the second floor of the library's building, houses am archaeological collection from the surrounding areas. The collection is well documented and well disposed in a small room. There is also a nice educational paper for school visits and groups of children.
