A typical mountain village, near the Gardunha mountain. A special note to the House Museum "Casa Típica da Aldeia" (Typical Village House), that pictures the local architecture nd traditions, the mother church and the chapel of Saint Luzia. The craftswork includes iron objects, shoes, embroideries and more.

The village of Álvaro is part of the network of shale villages. It preserves an admirable religious heritage, which is why it is assumed that, in times gone by, it would have been an important region for religious orders. The Circuito das Capelas (Chapel's Circuit) will allow you to observe the remains of the religious history of this village.

Included in the Parque das Nações gardens, the different gardened areas associate the botanic with the Oceans Discoveries done by the Portuguese. The garden, with 2500 m2, presents characteristic vegetations from several ecosystems representing the main origin areas of the species, at the discoveries period, in a total of about 2300 plants.

The old backup garden of the Thermae Hospital, the Park Dom Carlos I, a true "lung" of Caldas da Rainha, has many trees and lawns. Since its inauguration, in 1892, it has been a traditional meeting place, with a lake and recreational boats, as well as the Museum José Malhoa.

Parque Verde da Ponte is located next to Ribeira de Mortágua, being the perfect place for resting, socializing and leisure. Here the water, trees of different species and the green of the grassy spaces predominate. The surrounding area invites you to exercise. It has a picnic area and multipurpose playground.

The Arts and Sports Park, located in Amadora, in the old Lixeira da Boba, has multifunctional spaces, framed in an area where you can walk, run or ride a bike. Allied to sport and well-being, park users can also admire an art exhibition throughout the park.

The parish of Vilar da veiga, right in the Peneda-Gerês Natural Park (on the southernmost sid of the Gerês) is extremely rich in its natural resources (belvederes, rocky formations and waterfalls). Located in Leonte, at an altitude of 872 metres, the waterfall that falls from on high is quite beautiful in winter and in spring.

The farm is also known as "Quinta de Diogo de Mendonça", "Quinta do Visconde da Junqueira", " Quinta dos Côrte-Real" or "Quinta do Professor Lopo de Carvalho". Worthy of notice are the glazed tiles ashlars and the altar piece of Quillard inside the palace chapel.

A lookout point perched on a cliff, with iron-framed stairs offering magnificent views of the Montemuro Mountains, São Macário Mountains, and Arada Mountains. A notable tile panel reads: "It's worth going to Pena, coming to Penedo da Saudade, taking paper and a pen and saying goodbye to the city."

Natural reserve integrated into the Madeira Natural Park, with a total area of 1710 hectares and a total length of 6259 meters. It is exclusively marine, meaning it also covers the seabed up to 100 meters and the islets of Rocha das Vinhas and Viúva, or Rocha do Navio. This protected area was created in 1997 at the will of the local population, with the aim of protecting fishing and maritime resources against indiscriminate fishing, often using explosives.
