Church at the Colégio dos Jesuítas (Jesuit College), which is now the Madeira and Católica Universities. It is a mannerist building from the XVII century, with various paintings from the XVII and XVIII centuries inside. The beautiful altar at the chapel of the Eleven Thousand Virgins and the glazed tiles at the vestry walls are worthy of notice.

Taking the village of Mendo suffered several occupations, Dinis decided to rebuild and enlarge the wall around the village. This castle has suffered a blow with the war of restoration and with liberal reform, in 1855, when the County was extinguished. This sculpture of King Dom Afonso Henriques, situated at one end of the Largo João Franco, soon after entering through the gates of the village, was opened in 2001 in the commemorations of the day 24 June municipal holiday in the city of Guimarães.
