Built during D. João IV’s reign to defend the fishing centre of Burgau, this fort is now in a bad state of ruins. Traces of the original defensive walls can still be seen.

Construction dated from the end of the XVII century, being at that time the Santa Casa da Misericórdia and its Hospital. It was later the Medical School of Funchal and is now the Regional Government Palace.

Rustic and welcoming space serving good regional dishes. Rita's Tavern, a cozy house typical of Ribatejo, close of Chamusca, be sure to sample the peccaries and hog estupeta shredded tuna salad, duly accompanied by wine from the best, essentially in the region, but without forgetting the best national production. To accompany the main dishes have roasted potatoes and cabbages to punch.

Spacious and well located, in the Centre of the village of Cascais, divided into four spaces: a friendly bar, right at the entrance; the restaurant in strong colors, on the first floor; a room where they serve salads and light fast food meals; and a pleasant terrace. The kitchen is in charge of the Chief Miguel Magalhães, serving good traditional Portuguese cuisine with a touch of innovation.

This building was built by Manuel Lopes, first judge of the Confraria de Santo António, and by D. João Lobo, eighth baron of Alvito. Inside it is possible to observe the 17th century tile ceiling, highlighting the flowers and birds. Also, noteworthy is the mural painting on the chancel's barrel vault. This painting depicts an episode from the life of the Patron Saint. It is also worth highlighting the Mannerist pictorial set of oil on wood.

A building planned by Ernesto da Maia, classed as a Building of Municipal Interest since 1997. It has decorativ paintings and oil paintings. It is the main theatre in the parish. It was inaugurated in 1992 and remodelled in 2003, after a fire that went on the stage.
