The Castelinho Leisure Park is the main leisure area in Vila Nova de Cerveira, it was remodeled in 2007 and has several activity suggestions. This castle is located at the top of Cabeço da Penenciada, approximately 681 meters above sea level, between the Angueira and Maçãs rivers. This small fortress, which once served to defend the Sabor River, today serves as a privileged viewpoint over Trás-os-Montes. Some points can be identified: Miranda do Douto (Northeast), Vimioso and Outeiro (North) and Penas Roias and Mogadouro (Southwest).

Located on a hill close to the city of Oliveira de Azeméis, La Salette Park was created in 1909 and is currently managed by the La Salette Foundation. Considered an unavoidable reference in the region at an environmental and leisure level, this forest area was classified as being of public interest by the National Forestry Authority in 2009, during the anniversary of its centenary, rewarding size, age, rarity and, above all, species diversity, highlighting the Australian tea tree and the sequoia. The park also features a lake and the La Salette chapel, an important place of worship and architectural interest.
