Sanctuary composed of four chapels: Chapel of Saint John (15th century), Chapel of Our Lord of Agony (19th century), Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy (probably 17th century), and Chapel of Our Lord of the Afflicted. These chapels were built one at a time, between the 15th and 19th centuries. Their interiors preserve sculptures, such as the painted limestone one of Saint John the Evangelist and the one of Our Lady of Mercy, the latter of which is often brought out on procession days.

This schist village, located at an altitude of 500 meters in the Serra da Lousã, boasts unique beauty and is part of the Schist Villages Network. The village's only restaurant, a small but always popular restaurant, was named after one of its inhabitants, Ti Lena. There's a small shop selling Talasnicos and other homemade delicacies. After being abandoned a few years ago, these houses were occupied by hippies from northern Europe and also by families from Coimbra for vacation homes, but many remain empty. Castelo da Lousã / Castelo de Arouce

Castle located near the village of Lousã, in a mountainous landscape. It consists of a keep, punctuated by arrow slits, a small irregular fence, and a few turrets. Its entrance is flanked by two turrets, and three more are distributed along the walls. The entire castle is made of Silurian schist, a local rock, except for the garrison at the keep's door, which is made of white sandstone. During the Reconquista, this castle became a strategic point, halting Moorish incursions from the Zêzere valley.
