Along its narrow, almost exclusively pedestrian streets, the marks of time are visible, showcasing monuments with Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance characteristics. The typical streets feature whitewashed houses with flowers on their balconies and windows. Passing the Camões Monument, you'll find the pillory, the Church of Santa Maria, the Church of Mercy, and Óbidos Castle.

A lagoon of great scenic beauty, it is on the path to progressive silting. The lagoon is formed by a central area and several arms, such as Barrosa or Bom Sucesso. In the past, the ocean reached the walls of Óbidos.

A green space where you can observe various species of flora and fauna, including fallow deer and wild boar, as well as some windmills. There are also park benches and drinking fountains for resting and cooling off.

A Baroque church with a hexagonal floor plan inscribed within a circle, dating from the 18th century. It has undergone several renovations over the years and, in 1997, during the celebration of the Sanctuary's 250th anniversary, a museum section was inaugurated here.

Reflecting the medieval atmosphere of this village, there are several horse-drawn carriages offering tourist rides, with different routes and prices.

The main entrance gate to the village, commissioned by King João IV in gratitude for the protection of the patron saint, Our Lady of Piety. Inside is the chapel-oratory dedicated to this saint, with a baroque balcony and blue and white tiles.

This urban ensemble denotes the medieval character of this village. It is entirely surrounded by walls and has an urban structure that extends from the citadel, entrances, and parade grounds. Of the six gates and posterns cut into the walls, the Porta da Vila stands out, with its chapel oratory, balcony, and attached staircase, all covered in tiles. Built in the 16th century, the palace is a Manueline building located in the north wing of the castle. By the 17th century, the castle was already damaged, a situation exacerbated by the 1755 earthquake, and it was subsequently rebuilt.

A Mannerist aqueduct with an arcade divided into three sections, extending for six kilometers. It transports water from the Usseira water source to the Arcos valley and then to the fountain in the square.

Located at the Dom Dinis Agricultural Professional School in Paiã, the Ecopista (Eco-trail) is designed for walking and cycling, allowing users to follow paths that, in an almost magical effect, make visitors feel an integral part of the landscape. It's an opportune moment to observe sheep, cattle, and horses, contemplate the flight of birds, and discover herbs and shrubs that perfume the paths.
