One of the most famous ice cream shops in the country, being one of the pioneers in the art of making Italian-style ice cream. Even today they do by hand. In addition to the cups and cones, have their own packaging that preserve the ice cream cold home.

Nothing remains of the original church, completed in 1389. The cloisters and other outbuildings were modified in the 15th and 16th centuries, and they also underwent several alterations in the 18th century. 16TH century Church, despite the Renaissance façade, located next to the hospital, consisting of nave and chancel. In its interior you can see magnificent pieces of religious art, carving and tiling. Today, in addition to church, it is also Health Center of Vila Viçosa.

A pedestrian trail that is approximately 12 km long and lasts between 3 and 4 hours. It is possibl to visit the Mamoa of Saint Amaro, as well as the chapel and the dolmen.

Placed inside the castle walls, this garden is characterized by lawn areas and various trees species. The narrow streets of the Santa Cruz, inside the walls, deserve a visit.

The garden belongs to the Palace, with lawns and dense woods. There are belvederes, galleries and grottos. It may be visited from 10 am to 6 pm (8 pm in the summer).

This fair is a must-see for anyone visiting Mafra. Here they sell all sorts of products, from clothing and footwear, tools undergoing animals, furniture and antiques.
