A mountain range with the highest peak at 653 meters, located between Estremoz and Redondo. It boasts a wide variety of plants and animals, such as the insectivorous plant known as sundew. Despite the immense eucalyptus plantation it witnessed in the 1950s and after its fire in 2003, it remains the lungs of several municipalities. It is also the site of the Convent of São Paulo, which has been located since 1182.

A hill of the Minho province. It is located near the Lima river and separates the municipalities of Viana do Castelo, Ponte do Lima and Paredes de Coura. It is mostly granitical. It reaches its peak on a plain, at an altitude of 800 metres, and it is 13 kilometres long.

The Aboboreira Mountain has wonderful views, namely on the Baião and Marco de Canaveses sides. It is located by the Marão Mountain. The Menhir of Travanca, one of the most complete in the Iberian Peninsula, is located there.

The Cabreira mountain is a 1286 metres high elevation. It belongs to the Peneda-Gerês mointanous system. It has quite unique beauties and has several tourism resources that will dazzle the visitors with its natural riches. The spring of the Ave river, that flows along the wild rocky formations, is located here. Many exquisite waterfalls are also to b found here.

This mountain belongs to the Old Massif of Entre Douro e Tejo and its highest point is at 1227 meters. It also has a dense afforestation due to the extensive planting work, namely chestnut trees, carried out at the end of the 13th century, during the reign of Dom Dinis. It presents a great diversity of flowers, having some unique species in Portugal. A popular pilgrimage is held annually at the top of the mountain in the chapel of São Macário.

This hill is a northern continuation of the Montemuro Hill. One may follow the pedestrian trails and visit the lost villages with their schist covered houses. The hill has magnificent views of the valley.

Located to the east of the town of Fafe, the hill stands between the Vizela river and the Tâmega valley on the Basto region. Once named Gateiras Hill, it has a green, fertile valley, with diversified landscapes, namely of vineyards, cherry trees and chestnut trees.
