This palace in castle shape has manifested Italian influences in the main body, which is a 16th century construction from where an elegant Renaissance loggia stands out on the frontage and on the shed galleys on the back door. It also stands out the fifteen hundreds stonework, the horseshoe windows semi – detached (Mudéjar), the frescoes from Moorish inspiration, the fountain and fresh garden house, the cylindrical small towers, besides several other traces from Gothic structures. This convent was founded in 1485 as pantheon of d. Rodrigo Melo, the high usher of King d. Afonso v. is a specimen of the Gothic-Manueline architecture, of Arabic influence. On the façade is Gothic and neoclassical elements can be found. The monastery conserves the chapter room which features a mudejarismo Alentejo style.

This construction from the 15th century has undergone some improvements. The portico which dates from the 16th century, it is an example from the manueline – mudejar style. This church is composed by one only nave with a Latin cross plan. On the inside of the building, one stands out the carving and the painted panels.
Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Brotas

This church has a rectangular plan and it is covered by polychrome glazed tiles from 1660, a bell ringer tower and an apse articulating four chapels. IT preserves the Manueline Calvary in marble and several sculptures. The main chapel possesses coverage in lancet vault with corbels decorated by wall paintings. The main altarpiece is with composite columns articulating niches filled with covered foot with the respective images.
