Church belonging to the College of the Holy Spirit, classified as a national monument. The first stone was laid in 1566, giving rise to a Mannerist style building, typically plant Jesuit. The front of the Church has a portico with seven round arcades. The ship is only in a Latin cross plant, with chapels and enriched by gilt.

O primitivo Convento de Nª. Srª. do Carmo em Évora data de 1531, localizava-se junto da Porta da Lagoa (exterior) e foi destruído durante a Guerra da Restauração. O atual é de finais do século XVII, de estilo barroco e ocupa o antigo paço quinhentista dos Duques de Bragança, do qual subsistem alguns elementos. No exterior da igreja merece destaque a Porta dos Nós (símbolo da Casa de Bragança), a escadaria para o pátio e o zimbório. O seu interior é constituído por uma só nave, de planta retangular, com seis capelas laterais e capela-mor que ostenta a maior cúpula …

Building designed by engineer Adriano da Silva Monteiro (1846-1925), with neoclassical traits, of remarkable Italian theatrical architecture, having been opened in 1892. In the living room of spectacle stands out the ceiling, by António Ramalho, with an allegory alluding to the themes of tragedy and comedy, where, among other things, is part of the name of Garcia de Resende. In addition to work as show room, it also has a school of theatrical training.
