Beach inserted in a fishing village in the center of the São Jacinto dunes nature reserve. It is an extensive tongue of dunes and soft sands without any buildings nearby. It has simple restaurants serving excellent typical dishes and has some terraces.

The name comes from the fantastic views that offers over the region of Alentejo. Presents diverse gastronomy, served with friendliness and recognized for its quality. The traditional tomato soup, Migas potatoes, lamb stew without forgetting the Sericaia do the honors.

Simple and familiar space where some regional delicacies are served at affordable prices. Grilled fresh fish or rice with limpets, are some of the delights that this space provides, without forgetting the fantastic fig cake. Serves only meals at lunch or on demand.

A baroque palace with two floors, a long façade in a straight line, an axis with a balcony door and window sided by acanthus foliage convolutions. One should pay attention to the architrave balconies with forged iron adornations and, in its interior the interconnected rooms. In one of them there is a painted coat of arms on the coverture.

16th century building, profoundly altered in the 18th century. Of the primitive construction, in the Manueline-Mudejar style, only the vaults, the doors of the ground floor dependencies and the cloister are preserved. Inside there are several paintings, with emphasis on the 15th century frescoes representing the capture of Azamor. Pay attention also to the furniture and tapestries.

An 8.2 kilometres long pedestrian walk that starts with an ascent to the tallest peak of the island, at Pico Ruivo, from where one descends to the island's parish. Along the way, one can enjoy the central mountainous massive and the Laurissilva forest.

The Portimão seafront has a wide pedestrian avenue, all of it with typical Portuguese pavement. Palm trees along the way lend an exotic atmosphere to the place. Garden benches are a good excuse to sit and rest for a while, or just to enjoy the scenery.

The Branca Cultural Center (CCB) project, designed by Carrilho da Graça, is a municipal space with classrooms, rehearsal rooms, and administrative support; a 180-seat auditorium; and a small library, allowing for the teaching of music and the arts in an interesting and engaging way.

It was named Coliseu Avenida from 1917 to 1950. It was recovered by the Town Hall in 2005. It maintains the same architecture but can now welcome all sorts of cultural events. It also has a museum that shows the island's past way of life.

Granite monolith, medium-grained grey, carved and attached in such a way as to obtain a parallelepiped shape. The faces in the direction North-South are decorated with engravings obtained perforation, with different levels of erosion which seems to demonstrate their writing at different times.
