Museum opened in 1921, located in the Church of Santa Maria do Castelo, classified as a national monument. Here you can visit an extensive historical and artistic collection: Archaeology, painting, sculpture, liturgical vestments, sacred art and ethnography. Still has a room for temporary exhibitions.

Housed in the "Casa dos Açores," the Roque Gameiro Watercolor Museum is spread over three floors. The museum features a collection of two hundred watercolors, drawings by Alfredo Roque Gameiro and his immediate family, as well as portraits of Roque Gameiro dedicated to him by other artists.

Fragment of a milestone year 43 ad, dated in the Via XVII of the Antonine itinerary and found in the serra do Pindo, in Arcos. It is a cylindrical block of granite, well cut, medium to fine grain, built by Emperor Claudius Caesar Augustus. Currently, is in the collection of the Municipal Council of Montalegre.

The architecture is religious in nature, consisting of a vaulted chancel and a nave, the latter with two side altars. The sacristy preserves a Baroque lavatory. Another highlight is the baptismal font, brought from the main church, which is housed in a chapel under the tribune, next to the Chapel of Senhor dos Passos.

This fountain exists by the people’s will. It was built in 1772, after a petition made to the City council by the Largo do Postigo das Virtudes inhabitants. It is shaped like a pyramid trunk laying on a cup. The water comes from the central ornament, an oval medallion and runs through the cup into a tank.

This manor that dates back to the 18th century was recently acquired by the Foundation Joaquim dos Santos in order to restore it and adapt it for cultural purposes. Its main façade ornamented with worked windows, three elegant portals and a gate topped by the coat of arms and the initials of the proprietor stand out.
