Designed by North American architect Peter Chermayeff, it is located at Doca dos Olivais, in the heart of Parque das Nações. It was one of the main attractions of Expo 98 and, since then, it has become one of the most emblematic places in the city. In this "global ocean" four different habitats are recreated – the North Atlantic, the temperate Pacific, the Antarctic and the Indian Ocean – arranged around a central tank.

The Quinta offers special programs with accommodation and meals.

Situated at 800 m altitude at the foot of a pre-Roman castro and surrounded by the leafy Park of Serra do Barroso, Carvalhelhos thermal baths (so-called Holy due to be can bandage) provide a rest revitalizer. Golf course in the Aldeia dos Capuchos, 1402 meters long, being ideal for quick games. With the sea as backdrop, has nine holes of beautiful design, small slopes, a large lake, slight tilt greens and strategically placed bunkers. The driving range is composed of 10 outputs, where golfers can learn and improve the practices of the modality, individually or through group classes.

Évora has, since December 2011, an extension of the clock Museum of Serpa, the Palace Barrocal, next to Praça do Giraldo. There are about 400 mechanical watches that can be seen in that noble space, such as a workshop of Restoration. Fruit of a passion of António Tavares d'Almeida, the collection has more than 2,200 timepieces from 1630 until 2012, and an endless number of stories to see and hear.

This lovely house is situated in the middle of the protected area and surrounding the Peneda-Gerês National Park, one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal, on the left bank of the river Cávado Caniçada-Albufeira. Both the House and the outside you can enjoy the wonderful views over the Serra do Gerês, Caniçada reservoir, the shrine of St. Benedict the open door and the Rio Caldo-Geres bridges.

Chapel situated on a small elevation, in the old Rossio das Hortas, surrounded by houses on both sides and with a front patio. Ancient records do repackage its existence to the year 1536. It was then remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside are murals, chronicling nine moments of life of St. Peter. The paintings have a baroque nature and are subtitled in archaic Portuguese. Is located on private property.

With roots in the middle ages, the tanning industry occupied, in other times, a specific zone, located at the gates of the city, called "Ribeira hides". Given the historical significance and heritage of this area and constituting an essential element of this region, was classified as a Building of public interest, in 1977. In this way, the route of Industrial heritage of Vale do Ave highlights the tanning of Ramada factory as a significant example in full operation.
