After having remained closed for several years, this space was deply remodelled and re-opened in March 2006. It welcomes several cultural activities, from workshops to concerts, theatre plays and performances for the youngest, among others.

Open to the public in December 1997, this is a space that contains all sorts of documents of the Town Hall. In reality, it is a place with vauable information about the parish's history, its legislation, its rulings, its mail and much more.

An remodelled ancient house in the style of the Madeira farms. It has a bar, a restaurant with an open chimney under a typical wooden rooftop, as well as a leisure room. The closeby balcony and the winter garden lend the atmosphere a special touch.

This temple was constructed in 1782 and it has dome coverage in stone. The plant is longitudinal and it is composed by rectangular nave and main chapel. On the main façade there is a door with a pediment centred by two windows and topped by a round opening with framed span.

The museum opened in 1982 after a donation from the antique dealer Manuel Gameiro, with the City Council providing the building. It is divided into five themed rooms, allowing for an understanding of national and local history from the 18th century.

Located in the Church of Misericórdia, recovered and adapted, this museum has been open to the public since 1993 and comprises a set of objects mainly composed of paintings, from the 16th to the 20th century, as well as objects of religious value.

The Pavilhão do Conhecimento (Knowledge Pavillion) is a Live Science Museum that makes science available to everyone. It opened in 1999 and has temporary and permanent exhibitions such as the "Exploratorium", the "See, Do, Learn"!", the "Live Mathematics" and the "Unfinished House".
