A especialidade deste restaurante são os Baos, pequenos pães confecionado ao vapor, com recheios diversos.

Os filetes de polvo encontram-se sobretudo na zona norte do país. Da água de cozer o polvo, faz-se o arroz, assim como os pedaços mais pequenos, para lhe conferir a cor que se conhece.

A funcionar desde 1994, nesta casa os produtos são feitos na sua maioria tendo como base as receitas tradicionais e familiares, não utilizando produtos químicos artificiais, conservantes ou corantes. Destaque para os chocolates, bombons, amêndoas e compotas.

Nas margens do rio Douro, com uma vista soberba, dá primazia à cozinha simples e descontraída, inspirada no rio. Pode escolher entre os pratos típicos da região ou os pratos da autoria do Chefe Dárcio Henriques.

A circular walking trail of approximately seven kilometers, the Burga Dam is the landmark, passing alongside it first and enjoying distant views throughout. The trail climbs the slopes of the Serra de Bornes to Monte do Carvalhal, then passes through Colmeais.
