This route begins along the woods of Canary, a tarmac (about 100 metres) that descends along a aqueduct to the wall of Nine Windows. After a climb that passes through the ridge of the blue lagoon of the seven Cities, there is a descent to the seven cities.

Wooden walkways run along the right bank of the Ribeira de Quelhas, near the village of Coentral. The trail has sections of varying difficulty and can be hiked year-round, but is recommended during fall or winter.
