17th century palace, built by Miguel Pais Amaral. It features a façade cut by wide pilasters and two rows of windows with lintels decorated with "Rocaille" style motifs. It has an emblazoned door and, above, a balcony with stone balusters that serve as protection for the main floor door. The south façade has a double veranda with round arches and an original staircase. Also noteworthy is the chapel invoking Saint Bernard.

The construction of the primitive church was initiated at th end of the 17th century. Considred insufficient for all the faithful that came by, it was enlarged from the middle of the 18th century until the first decades of the 19th century, at which time the façade was finished. The tiles on the walls of the main chapel and the vault, reconstructed after the earthquake of 1755, are of the 18th century. One should pay close attention to the interior with rococo sculptures.

This monument’s construction was ordered by the Town Hall, paying homage to Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral, the two Portuguese aviators that did, for the first time, the air crossing of the Atlantic-South (Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro) on the single-motor hydroplane “Lusitânia”. The monument is represented by the armillary sphere on top and a stone basis with commemorative inscriptions. It is placed near the city centre, in a square also called “the aviators”.

The Tavern Restaurant Grocery Sebastião, in Santarém, the walls of the rooms are painted with designs, where you have the perspective of being inside a Bullring. With irony in dash, demonstrates the good will of the House, betting on the gathering around the table to win customers. Access to this fajã, located between Fajã de São João and Fajã do Ginjal, is via a narrow path, where you can enjoy fantastic views. However, this route is only accessible on foot, by donkey, or on horseback. The several houses here are now inhabited only on weekends. The land is used for agricultural purposes, primarily for growing yams and vineyards.

The Bela Vista (Lovely View) Park is the result of the reconversion of an old farm, one among the many that once existed in the eastern part of town. Th first plantation of trees dates back to almost two decades before now. Nonetheless, the Park only opened its gates in 1991. A wide area where musical events take place.

A Casa da Eira, situated in the village of Vilar, is an ancient farmhouse transformed into Rural Tourism accommodation. This complex maintains the architectural structure of a wealthy farm house in the region of Barroso: the houses of housing and the den involve an inner courtyard, the old barns and stables, now converted into a Museum and regional wine cellar define the perimeter of the eira that gives the name to the House.

Traces of a probable ancient settlement, located to the West of the village of Peireses, at Carigo. Here was found some ceramic material of Roman chronology (tegullae). The land in question is not grown for some time now, what prevents a better visibility. On the way corridor private land near a water reservoir were also prevalent ceramic fragments from the same typology.

Beach located in an old fishing village, now touristic. Large space divided by several jetties. Today it attracts surfers, bodyboarders and recreational boats. It has some simple restaurants with good typical dishes, including the eel stew, egg sweets and above all the famous dessert Pão-de-ló de Ovar. There is no shortage of nightlife and street commerce.

Opened in 1982, it was a shopping center in the city for many years. Nowadays, stores became studios and rehearsal rooms, now being born as a kind of musical incubator in Porto. There are more than 100 rooms from which various musical styles come from and some artists, such as Manuel Cruz, from Ornatos Violeta, have their name associated with the space.
