Worked in weaver’s loom, the traditional Alentejo blankets have as main motif the square shapes with brown, white or blue, white colours. At Urra are made weaving works that are later embroidered.

Pombaline building destined to housing and to trade, to submit a plant irregular rectangle with two storeys and attic. It was probably built in the 18th century, and later, in the 19th century, completely coated with tiles.

Building constructed in the 19th century, according to the plant engineer António José de Sá, in 1879 was installed here the Town Hall and the Court. In 1892 suffered a fire and was later rebuilt.
