17th century doors, designed by Jerónimo Velho de Azevedo, of monumental size. Laterally, they are protected by the so-called Casas de Guarda (Guard Houses).

This is the place for snacking so typical and delicious delicacies like: boiled bean to Alentejo, roast lamb, fried cod with garlic sauce or Mac baked in the oven.

The gift is a Fish Restaurant and presentation of modern lines. At the entrance is the Ark with the fish of the day, the main speciality of the House, so that the customer can choose fried or salt.

Temporary exhibitions hall located in the Ajuda National Palace. The theme is, usually, the history of art. It was created in 1869 by d. Luís I and closed in 1876. In the 20th century reopened in 1988.

Tower attached to the Church of Santa Maria dos Olivais, rectangular plant consisting of two floors. Initially had the function of atalaia, but Bell was adapted in the time of d. Manuel I.

In the restaurant the fisherman, at Mação, more than half the fish that arrive at the table are fished by the owners of the House. Fried with rice, shrimp Gumbo, is guaranteed here only serves the fresher the river gives. Served with bread and salad, Roe opts for the Flathead (6,50 €), Lucius (€7,50), Shad (€ 9) or by a mixed fish, € 8. When the heat comes also comes the Esplanade, with snacks to accompany.

A tea house with a youthful atmosphere, a rustic decor and ambient music. At tea time, do not miss on the delicious sweets that are baked here, such as the Brigadeiros, the Salame, the Queques and several cakes. Also try the Scones. It functions also as a bar and as a restaurant.

Building opened in 1863, with elements of Portuguese House (garden, the views, the eaves of roofs, among other things) and the use of iron, you couldn't miss this type of constructions. The Panel of tiles that can be seen inside was due to Leopoldo Battistini.

These are only fragments from the pillory which until half of the 19th century was in Largo de São João in front of the City Council house and next to the Chapel of São João and Cabo House. The others remnants from the pillory are missing.
