This horse riding centre has two maneges: one covered (15 x 23) and an obstacle course (70 x 30). It already has 45 students, 10 of which compete in obstacles, that have been awarded prizes several times.

Considered the most important baroque monument in Portugal, the Palace of Mafra was built by Dom João V. Integrates a set of six historical organs in the Basilica, an extraordinary library of the 21st century. XVIII, with about 38000 volumes and a Conventual Core, with a hospital at the time.

Monument inaugurated on July 3, 2005, on the day commemorating the 166th anniversary of Povoação becoming a municipality. It represents the place where the first settlers of São Miguel Island docked. It consists of small, high-relief images of prominent figures from that time.

The Arada Hill partly divides the Paiva and Vouga river basins. It starts in Castro Daire and reaches its peak at São Pedro do Sul. It is 20 km long and 15 km wide. It has some villages lost in time, such as Drave.

This trail begins in the village of Sobral Fernando and is 10.6 km long, takes 3 hours, and is of medium difficulty. Points of interest include the Conheiras (extensive heaps of pebbles that testify to gold mining in Roman and medieval times) and the Várzea das Pedras Watermill and Reservoir.

Natural park made up of small watercourses with waterfalls, lots of vegetation and water mills, with the Ethnographic Museum operating in one of them. The picnic area and children's playground complement this space, which is very popular for those who want to spend time in nature.
