Sited in a beautiful exhibition gallery, located at the neo-classical S. Bento Building, it has a permanent exhibition called: “Biology, Biodiversity and Evolution in the Vegetal World”. Here you may also see a considerable number of microscopes and other ancient laboratorial instruments, a good collection of fossils and varied handicraft works.

It is one of the largest and most important archaeological sites from Roman and medieval times on the Peninsula. From the town of Basilii, the foundations, the walls, floors and structures that were below ground are preserved. Among the finds made in archaeological excavations, the following stand out: the mosaic of horses, the mosaic of muses and an inscription dedicated to Mars.

Small lagoon located inside the Serra de Santa Bárbara caldera, at 1021 meters above sea level, in an area of high rainfall. It is also within the area covered by the Site of Community Importance of Serra de Santa Bárbara and Pico Alto, where most types of natural ecosystems in the Azores are represented.

The Fraga da Pegada river beach emerged with the creation of the artificial Azibo reservoir. After transporting fine sand to the site and building supporting infrastructure such as parking, a bar, restrooms, showers, and telephones, the conditions were created that attract hundreds of Trás-os-Montes residents seeking a beach spot in the heat of summer.

Beach located next to the chapel of St. Sebastian, surrounded a beautiful cliff. The story of this beach is also associated with the occupation, in prehistoric times, of communities during the Mesolithic period, whose traces are covered by natural soil erosion. Is this site a small bar, where they serve light meals. Is a very popular beach for surfers.

Where once operated a stamping, are today installed this artistic guest house. The architect and owner Jorge Teixeira de Sousa has turned this space into an accommodation in which each of the three floors corresponds to a specific art, as it turns out the décor. The concept of the House promotes three areas: port-wine tasting, permanent exhibition of Portuguese artists, small library with Portuguese culture. The House consists of four double bedrooms and three small apartments.

Where once was the public garden of Reguengos de Monsaraz, today's City Park. After a thorough refurbishment, this park arose, whose concept is based on the element water. It consists of three prominent circular shaped areas-the area of stay, the playground and the space surrounding the gazebo. In the area of residence was built a bar\/restaurant. In the children's play area there is another grassy area which has a circuit for small tricycles and bicycles, more amusements and a picnic area.

The castle was built during the reign of Dom Sancho I, on the ruins of an older fortification. During Dom Fernando's reign, it underwent restoration work and, in 1755, suffered extensive damage in an earthquake. Later, French invaders left the castle in a state of great degradation, which led to its complete abandonment. Today, it preserves some 14th-century towers, including the keep. The castle grounds have been transformed into a garden and are a pleasant place for leisure.

The Art Nouveau Museum of Aveiro, housed in one of the most emblematic buildings among the heritage of this artistic chain, is the interpretive center of the extensive network of Arte Nova motifs throughout the city of Aveiro. More than restoring the ornamental environment of an Art Nouveau dwelling, this museum nucleus treats the New Art as a didactic argument, intending to take the visitor to reflect on the assumptions of the aesthetic revolution that this movement provided, and better understand its reflexes that still today.

A Mannerist building, rebuilt in the 18th century. The interior walls are covered in 17th-century blue and white tiles depicting scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary. At the back of the church is a eucalyptus grove that ends in a fountain, the Fonte da Senhora or Fonte Santa, where, according to legend, Our Lady of Atalaia appeared. The traditional symbolic "Lavagens" are still held there today during the parish's main pilgrimage, which takes place on the last Sunday in August.
