The campsite Valpaços, located in the proximity of the river Rabaçal, is a quiet and relaxing, ideal to replenish energies, in a nice and cosy environment. In the immediate vicinity of the Park you can also visit the shrine of our Lady of health and the Roman bridge over the river Rabaçal.

A place of extreme natural beauty, an almost virgin place where silence prevails. It's worth a visit. The lagoon formed by the waterfalls is known as Poço da Alagoinha or Lagoa das Patas because, during the migration of wild ducks, they remain in this lagoon for days.

The area consists of the coves and cliffs on the coast and Prainha Regional is classified as a nature reserve by the existence of sedimentary formations and marine fossils. For anyone who wants to visit the reserve can do it, until a certain point, by car. The remaining path is done on foot.

Discovered in 1955, they are part of a group of caves in the Serra de Minde mountain range. Their configuration is gallery/chamber type, with the unique feature of ventilation through a natural chimney. Replete with stalactites and stalagmites, the largest chamber is approximately 6000 m2 and can be visited.

A hiking trail approximately seven kilometers long, passing through the Serra da Malcata Nature Reserve. You'll pass by the banks of the Meimoa Reservoir and Barroca-do-Carvalhal, home to ancient trees and a diverse fauna. This trail begins and ends at the Ponte dos Alísios.

Circular trail that starts and ends at Caldeiras das Furnas. Has an extension of about ten kilometres and a duration of three hours. The starting point is, more specifically, on all three Cocks, and then by where are made the famous cooked das Furnas and the Chapel of our Lady of victories.

This semi-cricular garden, located at the centre of Midões, composes a triangle in the typical Portuguese pavement in the central part, and the limit ends in a granite and tile fountain that is currently dry. The rest of this space, with an earth pavement, has small bushes, medium sized trees, benches and lamps.

Fortress built in the XVII century to protect the city against pirates’ attacks, being enlarged in the XVIII century. It was used with military ends until 1992, year in which it was given to the Regional Government, which turned it into a cultural space, so that now is the Contemporary Art Museum.

Mannerist Church of longitudinal plant consisting of a nave and a chancel, with a rectangular annex adossado and a small rectangular body. The main facade is Freestone and ends in Gable, featuring a double and Bell being torn by a straight Dick portal. It was built in the 16th century and renovated in the 17th century.

The Cruzeiro São Domingos (calvary), also known as Cruzeiro de Nossa Senhora da Glória is from the end of the XV century. The original is inside the Aveiro Cathedral since the 70ies. It is a quattrocentist calvary with scenes of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ sculpted in low relief.
