Inside, the elements that stand out are: the pulpit, the Mannerist and Baroque carved altarpieces of the chancel and the altarpiece. The Bell Tower was demolished in the sixties of the twentieth century.

The tomb where Damião de Góis, a Portuguese historian who distinguished himself during the Renaissance in Portugal lies, is located in the chapel on the Epistle side of the Church of St. Peter. With sober lines, a frame with a Latin description stands out.
