The Church of San Isidoro is one of the most interesting and best preserved testimonies to Romanesque of the current municipality of Marco de Canaveses. This church, together with that of Tabuado, standardizes the Romanesque Lower Tâmega, both in the Organization of space as in the arrangement of the elevations, in the typology of openings and in like rank in rosettes. This church conserves one of the most interesting murals produced in Portugal in the first half of the 16th century.

A very nice space, which is also a small rural tourism unit, the owner Phyllis and her husband will receive customers in his restaurant, which features some of the best dishes from the rich local gastronomy, including game dishes (wild rabbit and Partridge). Migas, lamb and pig black are assiduous attendance in the letter, the pair of cation and tomato soups with cherne.

Celorico de Basto Station is the central hub of the Tâmega Line Ecopista. Here, you can visit an interpretive center and learn about the history of the Tâmega Line. Built on the canal of the decommissioned railway line, it is intended for pedestrians and cyclists.

This large square in Portuguese floor has a vast area with trees, garden benches and a cafe with a terrace. It is a lively place, one of the meeting points in Viseu. Some of the most important spots in town are located here, namely the town hall.

It is, perhaps, the most representative store of crafts in the region and also works as a Tourist Office. Here you can find wooden Christs, regional dolls, embroidery, cheese, honey, carving and restoration work, ceramics, among other relics.

This environmental education centre, located in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, provides all the information about this park, in addition to release additional environmental oriented entities. Here we can visit exhibitions, attend workshops and show movies.

Opened since April, 21st, 1999 this library offers the bibliography of David Mourão Ferreira and studies about the author. Here are also works of reference, books and multimedia. It has free internet, lends books and has an exhibition room.

Large park with a magnificent view of the city and the Sousa Valley. Here you can stroll among enormous trees and relax on one of the park benches. Highlights include the fountains, bandstand, wayside cross, and shrine to Our Lady of Piety.

Park offering magnificent views over the northern part of the island of São Miguel. This place stands out not only for its plant heritage, but also for some geological peculiarities, such as the paleosols and layers of pumice that you can find here.

House dating from the 19th century, having been the residence of Bernardo da Costa Cabral, 1st Marquess of Tomar. In the late 20TH century, 70 worked here the Court. He currently works as the residence of students and teachers.
