Located in the Peniche Fortress, this space arose from the recognition of this fortress as a memorial site and a major symbol of the struggle for freedom on a national scale. Its mission is to preserve the historical memory of the Peniche Fortress and the struggle of the Portuguese people, and in particular, the resistance to the dictatorship, for freedom and democracy. There, visitors can see the cells, visiting rooms, and the recreation yard of the prison, which also served as a residence for Germans and Austrians during World War I.

This is one of the main green spaces in the city of Peniche, with large trees, benches, lighting, and an extreme park for the more dynamic.

Islands located northwest of Peniche and Cabo Carvoeiro, they are a granite formation approximately 280 million years old. The largest is Berlenga Grande Island, but the archipelago is made up of a number of other islets surrounding it (Estelas and Farilhões). Being a major nesting and refuge site for seabirds, the reserve is home to a wide variety of species. Due to the rocky base of the wall's sections, the citadel's fortifications are irregular. Inside the fortress, highlights include the Chapel of Santa Bárbara, the round bastion, the large cistern, the casemates, and the entire parade grounds. The citadel served as a political prison from the 18th to the 20th centuries. This space houses the National Museum of Resistance and Freedom.

Located next to Consolação beach, it was built in the mid-17th century to reinforce the defenses of Peniche Bay. It features four triangular bastions and five platforms housing the fire hydrants, with access to the interior via a bridge. Over the years, and especially after the 1755 earthquake, it underwent renovations but has always maintained its original Mannerist structure.

Medão Beach, better known as Supertubos Beach due to its fast, tubular waves, is internationally renowned for attracting surfers, bodyboarders, and windsurfers year-round, hosting international events related to these sports. Located at the southern entrance to Peniche, it is surrounded by dunes and boasts a vast stretch of sand.

Located near the fishing port, Ribeira Marina has capacity for 140 boats, including 20 for passing vessels. Next door is the boarding pier for the Berlengas Islands, located about 10 miles offshore. There's parking and a nearby restaurant where you can sample local cuisine.

A bay north of the narrow path that leads to the small peninsula, Baleal is a treasure for diving and extreme sports enthusiasts. It has a small island populated by fishermen and is very touristy. There is no shortage of high-quality restaurants serving traditional dishes. Nightlife is a must.

Near Peniche, a volcanic rift emerges, known as Ilhéu da Papoa. This rock formation is a popular fishing spot and also offers beautiful ocean views. It's also a popular spot for seabird watching.
