A dolmen without a corridor, with an irregular polygonal chamber. Only three of the seven supports supporting the roof slab remain.

The dolmen consists of five or six pillars, with a rather irregular pyramidal-conical shape. A fallen granite slab appears to be the original cap. This megalithic tomb is commonly known as "Sobral."

Also known as Cova Dominique, it is located on a cliff between Cabo Carvoeiro and Peniche Fort. It is a natural cavity located approximately 15 meters above sea level. It was occupied during the Middle Paleolithic and late Chalcolithic periods, making it the most important prehistoric site in the municipality. It served as both a shelter and a necropolis, providing a vast archaeological collection, which can be seen in several museums, including the Peniche Municipal Museum.

Bobbin lace is considered the hallmark of Peniche's craftsmanship, so this museum focuses on the study, conservation, appreciation, and dissemination of this important cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible. It hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions showcasing the various aspects of this art, and also features a training room and documentation center.

A lookout point at Cabo Carvoeiro, known as the westernmost point in Europe. From here, you can enjoy a privileged view of the Berlengas Islands and visit the 25-meter-high lighthouse, considered the oldest in Portugal. You can also observe several species of seabirds, as well as the limestone cliffs.

Peniche is partially surrounded by 16th-century walls, which enclose the whitewashed houses divided by narrow streets. The walls have defended the city since that time, along with the Fort of Consolação and the Fort of São João Baptista das Berlengas. However, during the Peninsular War, it proved weak, succumbing to the Napoleonic invasions of 1807.
