Small house located in the mountain village of Crooked River, about five kilometres from George. Has six welcoming rooms, living room, library and a nice outdoor space with hammocks, benches and tables. Set composed of Church and convent. The Church is from the 17th century and the 18TH century convent, although the latter has never been finished. Has two bells, a luminous Cross and a small panel of azulejos (1940) depicting the Virgin Mary. Is located in morro alto, obtaining thus a panoramic view to the outskirts of the city. After following the municipal road, access to this site is gained on foot via an approximately 50 metre long trail. This 30 metre high waterfall is found in the environs of Fóia, located at the beginning of Ribera do Barbelote. From the peak, the highest point of the mountain range at 902 metres, one can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.

The Mountain belongs to the Old Massif to the South of the Tejo and occupies the regions of Grândola and Santiago do Cacém. It has its highest peak at the Cume da Atalaia whre one can find the imposing ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Livramento. Dating back to the 16th century, this fortress has undergone several renovations over time. This fortification preserves a strong wall with ravelins and a tower and is traversed by a corridor that continues under the vault of the old tower. In the heart of the town, in Largo da Sé, this arch is one of the most important architectural complexes in the Algarve. This monumental portal is a 19th century reconstruction. Inside there is an Arab portico, unique in the Algarve region. In the niche above the Arch there is an image, in white marble, of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
