Small lighthouse tower, with a hexagonal drawing, two floors and 5m height. The access to the first floor, the main one, where the warning lights were sent to navigation, is done through a small, steep stone stairs on the outside, with iron defences. It is also called Farol da Luz or Farol da Senhora da Luz.

Set consisting of a tower to which a residential annex was later attached. The tower is a quadrangular building. The ruin also has the ground floor and part of the first floor. The original access door has a perfect round arch. The annex has a wide door that has pointed arches on both sides. It had at least two floors.

In the village with the same name, is hidden Praia da Figueira. Although there are plates, automobile access is limited, duly signposted. From a certain point, there is a narrow path to a few meters to the beach. This is flat, without oscillations and very quiet. Looking at the top of the cliff can be seen traces of a 16th-century fortification. Great for sea baths.

It is the most recent seaside complex at Madeira Island, with a privileged location, at the Lido promenade, ideal place of a walk. It has two adult pools and one for children. It also offers sea access, sand filed for several sports, infra-structures to nautical sports, WC, locker rooms, umbrellas, settees and first aid sickberth.

It is one of the most characteristic quarters of the town, filled with history and tradition. It was the subject of a recuperation plan, due to the serious fire of 1988. The pillory, an 18th century house with coats of arms, a unique house known as "Sinagogue" that reflects the importance of the Jewish colony that onc eexisted here, stand out in this village. A special note to the belvdere, the water mill and the river beach as well. The domens of Queiriga and Pendilhe and the Necropolis of Almoxene are located nearby.

A lookout point at Cabo Carvoeiro, known as the westernmost point in Europe. From here, you can enjoy a privileged view of the Berlengas Islands and visit the 25-meter-high lighthouse, considered the oldest in Portugal. You can also observe several species of seabirds, as well as the limestone cliffs.

Old building of the Town Hall, built in 1680, of rectangular plan with three and a floor. Presents a simple rectangular plan, matching the interior with the exterior, and a penthouse on roof of four waters. Between 1972 and 1973 underwent restoration works, being then here installed the Junta de Freguesia and a country club.

Traditional crafts such as shoemaking, saddlery, barber, farrier, blacksmith, carpenter, caulker, cooper are represented here, and objects from the various activities carried out in the region since the end of the 19th century are on display, such as agricultural implements, household utensils, costumes, embroidery , photographs, furniture, basketwork, toys and ceramics.
