The Alto da Memória, also known as Hill of memory, is located at the top of the Jardim Duque da Terceira, in the historic center of Angra do Heroísmo. Privileged place to get an overview about the historical centre, framed by the ocean.

Lookout point located on top of the Hill of Papalva, name arising from a small bird almost extinct. Offers fantastic views of the Bay of Lajes do Pico. This is where, formerly, one could observe the hunting of whales.

The biggest playground to take, with a large area for the youngest to have fun. Is located along the river Nabão and nearby Parque do Mouchão having a central location, which makes it very frequented. The floor is padded and the space is fenced.

Inserted in the Parque Verde do Mondego, this park makes the delights of the newest. If you want to organize a birthday party, there are plenty of inflatables, ice creams, clowns and lots of animation. The Park is equipped with modern amusement in synthetic floor.

Former School of education instituted by testament of meritorious Joaquim Ferreira dos Santos, the count of Ferreira. Was inaugurated in 1872, on the spot where once stood the Church of Saint Stephen. Later, the Museum has installed Hipólito Cabaço.

Bust of Dr. Francisco dos Prazeres (1849-1918). In honor of the man who guardenses, among other activities, was linked to the construction of the Hospital da Santa Casa da Misericórdia and the Foundation of the District of childhood Helpless Asylum.

Originally devoted to the Senhora da Piedade, it also welcomed the Senhora do Ó, a pregnant Virgin, when the chapel where it used to be was destroyed. The Frontispiece has several ornamental, which frame the portal and a niche with an image of the Virgin.

Capela reconstruída em 1845, destacando-se do seu altar as imagens de Santa Ana com a Virgem e de Nossa Senhora da Graça, imagem gótica em pedra de ançã.

Casa de produtos regionais, onde o destaque vai para a louça de Alcobaça, feita através dos barros brancos da região. Algumas peças apresentam reproduções das antigas fianças portuguesas.

Feito com base em erva-doce, pão ralado e muitas especiarias, esta tradicional guloseima com aroma forte é um dos doces mais exóticos da doçaria regional açoriana.
