Feitas com base em ovos e açúcar em abundância, a panela tradicional onde são confecionadas tem um funil e só se encontra à venda em Tomar. O processo de confeção torna estas fatias completamente distintas e com uma textura única a que a calda confere sublime doçura. As Fatias podem ser servidas simples ou decoradas com fios de ovos.
