It belongs to the parish of Valada and is one of the few fishing villages of Avieiros, who came from the Vieira de Leiria area, that still maintain their characteristics. The writer Alves Redol, known for writing about the Tagus River and its people, was one of the most famous inhabitants of this typical fishing village. The houses are colorful and made of wood, of the stilt house type, supported on pillars, in order to prevent the occurrence of floods, which normally plague this region in winter.

In this House we intend to rigorously authentic environment reset, starting with the construction and genuine and quality furnishings, with a decor that respects the traditional knowledge of the region, never forgetting the comfort, present through some modern touches. Its name comes from an 18TH-century Door Knocker which still decorates the main gate. Divides two farmhouses, one with six bedrooms and another with four bedrooms; and two villas, each one with a room.

About a kilometer from the town, this former convent of the Frades Menores de São Francisco da Covilhã was founded in 1563, in a place that offers excellent views of Cova da Beira and Serra da Estrela. The convent was extinguished in 1834, with its objects of worship being distributed among several churches in the region, until in 2001 it was transformed into an elegant inn, with 24 rooms. The hotel unit kept the architecture in an amphitheater, on the slopes of Serra da Esperança.

Installed in the cellar Widow Gomes, in Almoçageme, this museum was created to preserve the techniques of planting vines in sandy soil, a characteristic of the Colares wine, as well as the traditions combined with the beverage production, including the use of caste "Ramisco". It should be noted that the demarcated region of Colares has existed since 1908, although the tradition wine area reassemble the 1225, when King Afonso III made the donation of Reguengo of Necklaces, forcing plant vines there from France.

The church, a fifteen hundreds foundation was remodelled on the 17th century. It presents a “pattern” glazed tiles panel, the pulpit and the barrel ceiling with empty coffers. From the medieval period stands out the ogival arches from the transept chapels recovered with glazed tiles from the 17th century and two Gothic tombstones. It also stands out two holly water fonts, both of them from the fifteen hundreds. From the Gospel side there is one chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Rosário with golden carving altarpieces.

Classified as a National Monument in 1978, the castle that dominates the Historic Village of Marialva from atop a cliff likely dates back to the 12th or early 13th century, when King Sancho I promoted the settlement of the region.
