The Serra de Montejunto was classified as a Protected Landscape Area in 1999 and a Natura Network Site in 2000. It is fifteen kilometers long and seven kilometers wide, along which you can enjoy landscapes of great natural beauty, as well as diverse species of fauna and flora.

Fortified settlement dating from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, also known as the Eneolithic or Chalcolithic. It features two walled belts, corresponding to the different phases of occupation.

The building's main portal is topped by a triangular pediment and surmounted by an oculus flanked by two crevices. The interior features three naves, divided by arches and supported by Tuscan columns. The chancel features a ribbed vault with smooth quoins. Particularly noteworthy are the 17th-century carvings on the altars and the tile covering from the same period.
