This medieval church was reconstructed on the second half of the 16th century. The main door is in white marble with two striated columns. On the inside there are three naves presenting divisible arches supported by Tuscan columns. In this monument, stands out the naves and main chapel coverage in sixteen hundreds glazed tiles and the altarpiece in carving from the 17th century.

Building from the second half of the XVII century that, since the earthquake of 1755, has been suffering works of repair and conservation, with a conception of romantic interior quite visible in the covering glazed tiles, painted ceilings and walls revetment. From the XVII century construction there is still the noble façade, at north, where the portal stands out.

The monument itself appears in the flower bed of wheat, where recorded six decomposed images of photography which serves as a theme. The water comes out of the monument by a marble fountain carving, conducted throughout the piece.

Its architectural heritage includes the Roman Arch, a National Monument, the pillory, the mother church, the roman amphitheatre, the roman bridge of Ribeira de Cavalos, the chapls of Our Lady of Luz (Light), Our Lady of Socorro (Help) and of Saint Sebastião, the menhir of the Pimheiro dos Abraços and several manors. A special note to the museum at the Godinhos houses, with a manuelin window, as well.

A settlement located on the left bank of the Marialva River, atop a hill surrounded by pine trees and cliffs. Its inhabitants are mostly dedicated to agriculture, with emphasis on cereals, wine, and olive oil. It has military roots, having also been occupied by the Goths and Romans and, later, by Dom Afonso Henriques. Marialva is divided into three nuclei: Devesa, which extends across the plain to the Marialva River; Arrabalde, which extends beyond the walls; and the Citadel, within the walls, which recently ceased to be inhabited.

On the top of the Milriça Mountain there is a first order geodesic vortex (587 metres high), a central pont in Portugal's maps. Besides that, there are wonderful views of the houses in Vila de Rei, the villages around it and a geomorphology dominated by schist and quartzite. The dark green pine trees, cut at times by the white villages, composes the most lovely canvas. To reach the top, one must depart from Vila de Rei to the road that leads to Fundada (in the north direction) and later on turn right.
