In the center of Viseu you can admire the beauty of its narrow streets, its buildings of great historical and architectural value and find several traditional shops. It is there that many cultural and artistic events take place.

The Azores are known as one of the best places in Europe to observe cetaceans. This company offers tours for the observation of whales and dolphins and even a small shop where you can gather information and reserve kayaks and bicycles.

Wooden walkways run along the right bank of the Ribeira de Quelhas, near the village of Coentral. The trail has sections of varying difficulty and can be hiked year-round, but is recommended during fall or winter.

The descent into the Grass takes place through a narrow path carved into the cliff. You can observe the large number of existing cellars, a consequence of the microclimate that favours the development of vineyards, as well as fig trees and vegetables.
