This Chapel, dating from the 18TH century was, presumably, rebuilt in the 19th century. On the main facade stands out the plinth, with a Latin cross high and round arch portal with stonework frame. Inside, the altar in gilt.

Sober building, consisting of a single nave and a Bell Tower. Abroad, especially the lateral portal manuelino, dating from 1546. Inside, highlight to the panels of tiles of the chapel chancel and two 16TH-century screens.

The village, with origins in an old hillfort occupied by the Romans, seen from afar is an authentic fortress, surrounded by a wall and two turrets at the entrance. However, Castelo Mendo is, nowadays, practically doomed to abandonment. Its population, which barely exceeds one hundred and a half inhabitants, is dedicated to livestock and agriculture. However, if today the village's location (800 meters above sea level) is an obstacle to growth, in the past this would have been the crucial factor in its development and guarantee of the defense of the lands on the left bank of the Coa River. …

Built in the early 18th century, it served as the palace of D. Constantino de Bragança, Viceroy of India, and only later as a convent. Highlights include the stonework and tiles, which depict scenes from the life of St. Philip Neri, and the beautiful marble staircase, featuring hunting scenes.

House probably dating from the early 18TH century, with a simple longitudinal plant with two floors, showing, in the Centre, a cruise of facade composed of a base and a Latin cross, dating back to 1777. Featuring sober lines, highlighting his effort in frieze and cornice, torn by Windows.
